Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping the IT and information security landscape within the Ministry for Culture and Science (MKW) in North Rhine-Westphalia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and advancing the security concept based on BSI standards, managing the Information Security Management System (ISMS), and ensuring compliance with state-level security guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating the performance of the IT service provider, leading IT projects, and conducting security awareness training. This position requires a strong background in IT security standards (BSI or ISO 27001) and technical systems knowledge.
