Job Summary

This role is ideal for an aspiring IT professional looking to launch their career in system administration within a successful, internationally focused pharmaceutical company. The Junior IT System Administrator will be the primary point of contact for technical support, managing First and Second-Level support for hardware and software across all departments. Key responsibilities include handling requests via the OTRS ticketing system, managing in-house workplace equipment (procurement, deployment, maintenance), and performing fault diagnosis and remediation on client hardware and peripherals. You will also be crucial in monitoring the entire IT infrastructure, resolving disruptions, and performing administrative tasks within Active Directory, including user, group, and rights management. The ideal candidate holds a degree or qualification in IT and possesses solid knowledge of the on-premise Windows Client-Server environment, coupled with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn rapidly.
