Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Technical Specialist and Project Manager for the Herforder Abwasser GmbH (HAG), focusing on the operation, maintenance, and renewal of the municipal wastewater treatment plant. The facility utilizes biological wastewater filtration (Biostyr) and recently commissioned a 4th cleaning stage for micro-pollutant elimination. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting facility condition assessment, coordinating future projects, preparing project tenders, and independently managing planning and execution across HOAI service phases 1 to 8. You will act as the key interface between HAG and IAB, overseeing projects related to wastewater treatment, sludge treatment (e.g., digestion tanks), electrical and mechanical engineering (MSR), gas utilization (CHP units), and various new construction projects. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a specialization in wastewater technology and possesses foundational knowledge in electrical and process engineering, along with proficiency in project management standards (VOB, UVgO).
