Job Summary

This role involves working as a Laboratory Technician specializing in Microbiology, focusing primarily on the independent execution of microbial count determinations for pharmaceutical clients. A key responsibility is ensuring all tasks and supporting documentation adhere strictly to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Beyond core duties, the technician will be cross-trained in other microbiology areas, supporting colleagues and contributing to quality assurance measures. Post-training, responsibilities expand to include equipment qualification, drafting GMP-relevant documents (like test plans, reports, and work instructions), and assisting department leadership with quality implementation. The ideal candidate holds a qualification such as a Biological Laboratory Technician (Biologielaborant) or equivalent, possesses strong analytical skills, and is comfortable working accurately and independently, occasionally within a rotating shift system or on weekends for specific projects.
