Job Summary
This role is for a skilled Electrician or equivalent technician to join a local energy provider in Frankfurt (Oder), focusing on the continuous operation and maintenance of a power plant. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring, commissioning, and operating electrical systems, process control technology, and measuring, control, and regulating systems according to DIN VDE 0105. A key function involves performing switching operations and issuing clearances on medium-voltage electrical systems. The role requires executing maintenance and repair work during both ongoing operations and scheduled revision periods. Candidates must have a relevant technical qualification (e.g., Industrial Electrician, MSR Technician) and ideally possess, or be prepared to acquire, switching authorization up to at least 30kV. This is a full-time, permanent position involving continuous rotating shift work (Wechselschichtdienst), offering a stable career path within a critical infrastructure company.
Required Skills
Education
Completed qualification as an Electrician for Operational Technology, Industrial Electrician, MCR Technician, Electrical Engineer, or comparable qualification. Kesselwärter (Boiler Attendant) course is advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or industrial electronics
- Experience working with process control and MCR technology
- Readiness to work in continuous rotating shift service (vollkontinuierlicher Wechselschichtdienst)
- Experience or readiness to acquire switching authorization for electrical systems up to 30kV
