Job Summary

As a Sensor Analysis Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting development and quality assurance by conducting complex physical analyses and preparations on electronic components. Your day-to-day will involve planning, coordinating, and executing advanced analytical methods such as ultrasonic microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, EDX, metallography, and infrared microscopy to identify and map weaknesses in electronic components. You will also be responsible for developing failure hypotheses and analysis strategies for fault isolation, documenting results, and evaluating new component samples for development and manufacturing. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Microsystems Technology, or comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in physical analysis of electronic components
  • Professional experience with analytical methods (e.g., light microscopy, X-ray, IR microscopy, SAM, REM, EDX, electrical measurement technology) is desirable
  • Professional experience with product and process knowledge in electronic components, especially in sensor technology (pressure, inertial sensors), is advantageous
