Job Summary
This role involves working as a Non-Destructive Material Tester at the Silbitz Group, a reliable partner in the casting industry for over 125 years, located at the Silbitz site. The professional will be responsible for preparing, organizing, and executing non-destructive testing (NDT) on cast parts, independently evaluating and documenting the results against requirements, and generating deviation reports for non-conformities. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training in a metal processing occupation, and mandatory certification according to DIN EN ISO 9712 Level 2 in Visual Testing (VT) and at least one other surface testing method (MT or PT). The position requires strong technical understanding, reliability, and the willingness to work in shifts. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a metal processing occupation; Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9712 Level 2 in Visual Testing (VT) and at least one other surface testing method (Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) or Penetrant Testing (PT))
Experience
- Initial professional experience in non-destructive material testing is desirable
- Experience in evaluating test results and creating deviation reports
