Job Summary

This role involves working as a Construction Materials Tester within the Quality Assurance and Geotechnics department for the State Roads and Transport Authority of Schleswig-Holstein, based in Kiel. The primary responsibilities include conducting laboratory and field tests essential for geotechnical preliminary exploration and quality assurance in road and bridge construction projects. Candidates must possess a completed vocational training as a Construction Materials Tester or a technical/craftsmanship vocational training combined with at least one year of proven professional experience in conducting laboratory tests on the physical properties of materials, preferably construction materials and soil samples. The position requires a high degree of commitment, teamwork ability, and physical resilience to handle equipment on site and in the laboratory.
