Job Summary
This role involves joining a modern, regional utility company dedicated to shaping the future of energy supply in Herten. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for critical infrastructure planning and operation, focusing specifically on medium and low voltage networks. Key day-to-day tasks include performing complex network calculations for short-circuit current analysis and load flow determination, conducting network planning and design, and evaluating grid connection requests according to VDE standards (AR-N 4100, 4105, 4110). Additionally, the engineer will manage the parameterization and testing of network protection devices and support Smart Grid systems analysis. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, possess professional experience in power supply network planning and operation (preferably in a municipal setting), and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and a service-oriented approach.
