Job Summary

This role is designed for a dedicated Materials Testing Technician specializing in Geotechnics, with a primary emphasis on fieldwork and on-site investigations. You will be responsible for conducting crucial geotechnical exploration and quality assurance tasks, including soil classification, collecting samples of soil, construction debris, and groundwater, and meticulously documenting exploration work such as core drilling, test pits, and in-situ percolation tests. A significant part of the job involves performing quality checks in earthworks, such as static and dynamic plate load tests and density checks. The ideal candidate holds vocational training as a Materials Testing Technician, preferably in Geotechnics, or a comparable qualification.
