Job Summary
This role seeks a meticulous Accounting Specialist to ensure the company's financial processes run cleanly, reliably, and in compliance with the German Commercial Code (HGB). Working closely with commercial management, you will be responsible for the full scope of ongoing financial accounting, including managing accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and cost centers. A core function involves preparing accurate monthly and annual financial statements, reconciling accounts, handling open items, and submitting VAT pre-registrations and other statutory reports. Candidates must possess relevant commercial training (such as a Tax Clerk or Industrial Clerk qualification) supplemented by an accounting certification and several years of professional bookkeeping experience, ideally within a medium-sized company. Proficiency in accounting software (like DATEV) and MS Office, especially Excel, is essential.
