Job Summary

We are seeking an Engineer or Technician specializing in ABB 800xA Software Engineering to join our team in Grafenrheinfeld. This role is crucial for planning, developing, and implementing complex automation solutions using the ABB 800xA system. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating comprehensive software documentation, system specifications, operating manuals, and checklists. A significant part of the job involves conducting in-house testing (FAT) and preparing systems for commissioning, followed by actual commissioning and service assignments both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Automation or a comparable technical qualification, possesses experience in programming, measurement, control, and regulation technology, and is proficient in both German and English. Experience with process control systems like ABB Freelance and System 800xA is highly desirable for success in this permanent position.
