Job Summary

The City of Sarstedt is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering Specialist focusing on underground construction to join their Planning and Building department. This role involves the independent management, coordination, and supervision of municipal canal and road construction projects, particularly smaller measures that are not handled by external engineering firms. Day-to-day tasks include representing the client's interests to external engineering offices and contractors, managing tenders and monitoring annual contracts for street and canal maintenance, and technical involvement in drainage applications, all while ensuring budget adherence. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on underground construction, possesses a structured and solution-oriented work ethic, and is proficient with MS Office. This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible working hours, mobile work options, and remuneration up to pay group 11 of the public service tariff (TVöD).
