Job Summary

This role involves acting as the specialized system manager for financial applications and interface management within the local administration in Senftenberg. Day-to-day tasks include creating cross-application evaluations, adapting programs to local requirements, and providing technical approval for updates and new modules. A core responsibility is serving as the critical interface between the specialist department, IT services, and software vendors, handling basic error analysis, and supporting hardware/software planning. The position requires defining and implementing master data, developing concepts for optimizing workflows using technology, and providing training and consultation to accounting staff. Candidates must possess a degree in Public Management, Business Administration, or IT, coupled with strong business knowledge, especially concerning IT integration in financial processes, and proven project management and analytical skills. Required Skills

Education

Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/in) or Employee Training Course II/Administrative Business Economist VWA, or qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service, or a university degree (Bachelor, Diploma) in Administrative Management/Public Management/Public Administration/Economics/Business Administration/Computer Science/Business Informatics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the tasks mentioned above (if degree is not in relevant field)
  • Professional experience with IT integration and support of financial technical processes
  • Experience in developing concepts for workflow optimization
