Job Summary
This role seeks a passionate PLC Programming Trainer and Learning Facilitator dedicated to advancing the professional competencies of course participants and supporting their integration into the job market. Day-to-day responsibilities involve delivering specialized technical instruction, primarily focusing on Siemens PLC controls using the TIA Portal, and utilizing advanced networking protocols such as Profi-Bus, Profi-Net, and OPC UA. The facilitator is responsible for preparing and designing curriculum-based learning materials and conducting necessary competency assessments. This position offers a highly flexible working model, requiring 80% remote work via the WBS LearnSpace 3D® platform and 20% on-site presence in Dresden-North. Successful candidates must possess a strong background in Automation Technology (Technician or Engineer level) and deep technical expertise in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and automation system setup, coupled with excellent methodological and didactic skills necessary to effectively convey complex technical content.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training, Technician certification, or Engineering degree in Automation Technology. AEVO or comparable pedagogical certification is desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience in Automation Technology
- Experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and setup of automation systems
- Experience applying knowledge in TIA Portal (including Profi-Bus, Profi-Net, etc.)

- Must be able to work 80% remotely (Home Office) and 20% on-site in Dresden-North. Full-time position (40 hours/week).
