Job Summary

This part-time, fixed-term position (24 to 32 hours per week) supports the Regensburg Study Center in conducting the NAKO Health Study, a major multicenter research initiative. The successful candidate will work independently within the pre-analytical laboratory area, focusing on the organization and execution of processing, aliquoting, and storage of human biological samples. Key responsibilities include ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards, meticulous documentation of all work steps, and proficient use of a Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS) for sample administration. Applicants must possess a completed vocational qualification as a Medical Technical Assistant, Biological Technical Assistant, Chemical Technical Assistant, or Laboratory Technician. While professional experience in the pre-analytical field is desirable, motivated entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply. The role requires flexibility, including willingness to work occasional Saturdays and evenings until 8 PM.
