Job Summary

Join DB InfraGO AG in Berlin as a Maintenance Planner focusing on preventative maintenance for tracks and switches. This crucial role involves coordinating the entire lifecycle of maintenance and repair orders—from initial planning and resource allocation to scheduling, monitoring, and final commercial closure. You will be responsible for determining necessary resources and capacities for preventative track maintenance across the entire Berlin network, managing procurement processes, and obtaining required approvals. A key part of the role is coordinating all necessary construction capacities, managing process steps for agreed construction measures (including operational registrations and safety planning), and conducting detailed plan-actual comparisons for costs and quantities. This position requires strong organizational skills, extensive knowledge of track infrastructure maintenance, and experience with SAP R3N and standard MS Office software, ensuring smooth communication with contractors and stakeholders.

Required Skills

Education

IHK Master Craftsman in a technical field (e.g., Track Construction Master Craftsman, Railway Traffic Master Craftsman) or higher qualification

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in permanent way maintenance
  • Comprehensive knowledge in maintenance and order planning for technical track systems
  • Experience with the planning and execution of small and large repair measures on traffic infrastructure (e.g., permanent way prevention)
  • Professional experience working with SAP R3N
