This role involves managing and coordinating all environmental aspects within a major railway infrastructure expansion project (Aschaffenburg - Hanau - Gelnhausen). The Environmental Project Manager will oversee the planning, construction, and supervision services, ensuring strict adherence to environmental regulations, permits, and third-party contracts, particularly concerning nature, species, and water protection laws. Key responsibilities include steering the creation of critical environmental reports (UVP, FFH/SPA compatibility studies), managing the tendering and awarding of environmental planning services, and advising the project team on potential environmental risks. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field, coupled with significant professional experience in the planning and realization phases of large-scale construction projects, specifically within environmental and nature conservation management, making this a crucial role in sustainable infrastructure development.
