Job Summary

This role is ideal for a technically proficient professional specializing in Windows and/or Linux environments who excels in 2nd Level Support. Day-to-day responsibilities include the administration and maintenance of server systems, proactive troubleshooting of complex technical faults within the IT infrastructure (including networks and servers), and collaborating closely with 1st and 3rd Level teams for efficient escalation and resolution. The specialist will also contribute to planning, implementing, and optimizing system and network architectures, ensuring high availability and robust security through regular updates and patch management. Key qualifications include current knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, experience with network infrastructure, and familiarity with collaboration tools like Office365 and MS Teams. The position involves working with modern technologies, including virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Checkmk), and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet). Strong German language skills (C1 minimum) are mandatory, and willingness to travel for projects is required.
