Job Summary

This System Engineer role focuses on the evaluation, optimization, and development of interfaces and complete building automation systems. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough system tests, creating comprehensive documentation, and standardizing software libraries and templates. A key component of the job is providing technical support to the sales team during concept development and offering training and assistance to end-users. Candidates should hold an advanced technical qualification (HF/FH level) in IT, Electrical Engineering, or Building Automation. Essential requirements include practical experience in automation technology, specifically with tools like Codesys, FUP, general PLC/SPS, and SCADA systems. Expertise in HVAC, KNX, and Loxone, alongside strong network knowledge (Modbus, BACnet), is highly valued. Required Skills

Education

Advanced training/degree (HF/FH level) in IT, Building Technology, Building Automation, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in automation technology (Codesys, FUP, general PLC/SPS, SCADA systems)
  • Knowledge of HVAC, KNX, and Loxone systems
  • Strong PC, network, and bus knowledge, including communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet)
