Job Summary

This pivotal role involves comprehensive Business and Operations Controlling within a globally recognized technology leader specializing in plant engineering, based near Zurich North (with 2-3 days home office flexibility). You will actively shape the Controlling function alongside the Head of Controlling, focusing on financial analysis across production and project environments, multiple sites, and business units. Key responsibilities include analyzing production, sales, logistics, and operations costs, defining KPIs, and preparing monthly forecasts. You will monitor manufacturing costs, generate detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for various product groups and operations, and actively participate in cost reduction and process optimization projects. Serving as a crucial sparring partner for Swiss management and decision-makers across various locations, you ensure financial oversight and coordination by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders like Manufacturing, Sales, SCM, and Accounting. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training combined with advanced professional certification or degree in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration (specialization in Finance/Controlling)

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience as a Controller
  • Experience gained within an international production environment (e.g., technical industry or plant engineering)
  • Mandatory practical experience in Production Controlling (manufacturing and plant costs)
