Job Summary
This role seeks a dedicated Civil Engineering Technician to join the Mettlach municipal administration, a key service provider for 12,000 citizens. The core responsibilities involve the planning and coordination of maintenance and repair work for critical public infrastructure, including the public sewage system, roads, paths, and squares. The technician will also manage the coordination of new sewer house connections, actively support the infrastructure department in various construction projects, and maintain the sewer cadastre. Furthermore, the position requires involvement in water maintenance, flood protection initiatives, and conducting crucial safety inspections of municipal assets like playgrounds and bridges. Candidates must possess completed training as a Civil Engineering Technician, preferably with several years of professional experience and thorough cross-trade expertise in managing construction projects. This is a permanent, full-time public service role offering performance-based pay (up to EG 9b TVöD) and excellent social benefits.
