Job Summary
The LWL is seeking a highly organized and meticulous PR Assistant to join their Press and Public Relations team. This is a crucial support role, primarily focused on independently managing administrative tasks and assisting with various communication activities and projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating consent forms for content production, managing central media databases, handling office organization and communication, processing procurement, and organizing conferences and meetings. The role also involves maintaining LWL's intranet and internet pages using the LWL-django-CMS, preparing and distributing press releases, and fielding media inquiries. Candidates must possess a completed vocational training in public administration or a relevant three-year commercial/administrative apprenticeship, coupled with excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in standard Office software. This is an attractive, permanent part-time position (19.5 hours/week) within the public service sector, offering job security and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in municipal public service (e.g., Administrative Clerk, Coesfelder Model, Office Management Clerk) OR a relevant three-year commercial/administrative vocational training.
Experience
- Professional experience in administrative or commercial roles
- Experience in handling Content Management Systems (desirable)
