Job Summary

This role involves supporting the modernization, development, and technical implementation of media technology systems within lecture halls and seminar rooms at the University of Würzburg's Computing Center. The specialist will work collaboratively on projects, documenting and evaluating technical equipment while coordinating with various stakeholders, including architects, construction authorities, electrical planners, and external service providers. Key responsibilities include planning minor installations, creating project-related specifications (Lastenhefte) and service descriptions, assisting with framework contracts, and providing operational support, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and user contact. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience, foundational knowledge in networking and programming, and hands-on experience managing AV media control systems, audio, and video equipment.
