Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous operation of critical research and development infrastructure by performing maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting on specialized test benches and associated operational plant technology. Key responsibilities include the localization, analysis, and resolution of complex malfunctions within programs for various PLC and contactor control systems, as well as electrical and mechatronic setups. The technician will actively contribute to process improvement by implementing suggestions for weak point remediation, documenting all structural changes, and ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations. Ideal candidates possess a completed vocational qualification, such as an Industrial Mechatronics Technician or Plant Electrician, coupled with certification as a Qualified Electrician (up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC). Essential technical skills include strong proficiency in EPLAN, Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and Measurement, Control, and Regulation Technology. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Plant Electrician, Industrial Mechatronics Technician, or comparable professional qualification; Qualified Electrician certification for systems up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC.
