Job Summary

This role involves supporting the next level of technological solutions by focusing on the electrical and control technology maintenance of production facilities, specifically within the food processing sector. Key responsibilities include programming, maintaining, and expanding programmable logic controllers (PLCs) from various manufacturers, implementing modernization measures to improve plant performance, and developing technical solutions to increase availability and process safety. The specialist will also coordinate external contractors during maintenance and project work, and meticulously document all technical activities and processes within the SAP ERP system. Candidates must possess a completed vocational training in operational or automation electronics, coupled with fundamental knowledge of Siemens control systems (Step7, TIA Portal, WinCC flexible), fieldbus systems, and frequency converters. This position requires a self-reliant, structured, and quality-conscious professional who is prepared to work in a 2-shift system.
