Job Summary

This role involves leading complex development and series production projects for military mission systems tailored for helicopters within the 'Air & Space' program division at HENSOLDT, a leading European defense and security technology company. The Project Manager will assume overall responsibility for the successful technical, commercial, and scheduled implementation of projects, managing interdisciplinary teams across Finance, Development, Procurement, Quality, and Configuration Management. Key responsibilities include Bid Management, where you will oversee proposal creation, calculation, and risk assessment for new customer inquiries and tenders, and ensuring compliance with strict security-relevant specifications and standards when collaborating with military clients and authorities. Candidates must possess a degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering) and several years of experience managing complex technical development projects, ideally in a military or safety-critical environment. Success in this role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and fluency in both German and English.
