Job Summary

This role involves performing critical maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on railway control and safety technology systems. The Signal Technician will primarily focus on executing adjustment and functional checks of signal circuits, switch drives, and track clearance detection systems. Key responsibilities include inspecting switch lighting and the illumination technology of main and auxiliary signals, as well as controlling and parameterizing level crossing systems. Candidates should possess a completed vocational qualification in electronics, such as an Industrial Electrician or Automation Technician, and ideally hold a Signal Worker qualification. Reliability, a sense of responsibility, and a Class B driving license are essential prerequisites for this challenging and varied position, which offers an unlimited contract and opportunities for continuous professional development.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, Electrical Installer, Industrial Electrician, or comparable qualification.

Experience
