Job Summary

This role involves specialized Application Support and Process Coordination within the Ministry of Justice and Health in Schleswig-Holstein, focusing on the critical IT systems BASIS-Web (Prison Module) and SoPart Justice, which manage administrative data for prisoners and client documentation in probation and correctional services. Day-to-day responsibilities include continuous coordination of IT operations, incident and problem management, and leading requirement management processes, including validating needs and creating implementation concepts within multi-state development collaborations. The specialist will also steer and manage supported judicial processes, contribute to budget planning, and actively participate in projects like the introduction of an electronic prisoner file. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor/Diplom-FH) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Law, or Mathematics/Natural Sciences, OR civil service qualification for career group 2, first entry level, in Justice, Social Services, or General Administration.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT application support or in the field of correctional services (Justizvollzug)
  • Professional experience in coordination within an organizational cross-sectional unit focused on developing workflows and business processes
  • Knowledge of the organizational structure and operational processes within correctional facilities, courts, and public prosecutors' offices
