Job Summary

This role involves critical IT management and project leadership within the Berlin Office for the Protection of the Constitution, serving as a vital part of the state's security apparatus. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of IT systems, including server and network administration, system conception, configuration, and updates. A key part of the role is leading IT projects and participating in inter-departmental project groups, ensuring the stability and security of the intelligence service's infrastructure. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science and demonstrable experience in IT systems, security, and networking. This position requires a high degree of organizational skill, goal orientation, and the willingness to undergo an extensive security clearance (SÜ 3), making it a high-trust, impactful public service role.

Completed university degree (minimum Diploma FH or Bachelor's) in Computer Science or a comparable field. Foreign degrees must include official recognition.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of demonstrable practical experience (required for EG 12 classification)
  • Professional experience in applying IT technology
