Job Summary

This role is based within the Adult Psychiatry Service of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), contributing to high-level academic and clinical research. The primary focus is acting as a motivated and rigorous Study Coordinator for a clinical trial evaluating drug treatments for moderate to severe psychiatric disorders, such as major depression and psychotic disorders, specifically in patients who are overweight or obese. Day-to-day responsibilities include the crucial tasks of participant recruitment, ensuring eligibility criteria are met, obtaining informed consent, and conducting standardized clinical and psychometric evaluations, including patient interviews using validated scales. The coordinator manages the administrative and clinical follow-up of patient files, alongside meticulous data entry, verification, and management throughout the study. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Psychology and demonstrate strong autonomy, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment. Prior clinical experience in adult psychiatry or research is highly valued for this challenging 12-month contract.
