Job Summary

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until October 15, 2027, serving as parental leave cover for the Goslar District Economic Operations (KWB Goslar). The Engineer will be central to the planning, construction, and maintenance of new, modified, and expanded facilities and technical equipment across the district's waste disposal sites. Daily responsibilities include ensuring operational compliance with technical and legal requirements, preparing expert technical documentation for official approval procedures, managing tender processes, and conducting economic feasibility studies within the waste management sector. The ideal candidate holds a degree (Bachelor, Master, or equivalent) in Environmental Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field, possesses a Class B driving license, and demonstrates strong self-reliance, teamwork, and proficiency in MS Office. This role offers varied tasks, significant creative scope, and a stable, supportive public sector environment focused on shaping sustainable waste management practices.

Required Skills

Education
