Job Summary
This role involves the independent management and execution of IT projects for the Archdiocese of Freiburg. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for creating and regularly updating product and project plans, documenting progress, and communicating updates to stakeholders. A core function is conducting detailed requirements analyses in close collaboration with specialized departments and diocesan institutions, followed by developing technical solution concepts based on these requirements. The manager will also coordinate and coach project team members, ensuring adherence to all targets including cost, time, quality, scope, benefit, and risk. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, or equivalent demonstrable knowledge, and be familiar with established management methodologies like PRINCE2 or PMI. This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible hours and a location in Freiburg.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable training
- Long-term, demonstrable knowledge acquired through practical experience (if degree is not held)
- Familiarity with management methodologies such as PRINCE2, IPMA, or PMI
- Professional experience in project management (desired, but not mandatory)
