Job Summary

This role is for an experienced PLC Programmer responsible for the full lifecycle of control system software, including development, adaptation, commissioning, and documentation. Day-to-day tasks involve creating and modifying PLC solutions using specific platforms like SAIA PG5 and SIEMENS DESIGO, conducting thorough testing, and generating functional descriptions for construction and assembly planning. A key part of the job is performing point tests and commissioning systems alongside the service team, requiring occasional, mostly day-long, on-site customer visits. Candidates should possess a background in electrical engineering (degree or certified technician) and fundamental knowledge of SAIA programming and integrating common bus systems such as BACnet, Modbus, or Profibus.
