Job Summary

This role involves working as an IT System Electronics Technician within the Data Center Management (DCM) Field Service team, delivering essential services to internal and external clients in Berlin. Day-to-day tasks include establishing data connections via MeetMePoints, installing fiber optic and copper network cables, and performing precise switching and patching operations on high-quality data cabling systems. The technician will also install, configure, and administer active IT components (routers, servers, IoT devices) in racks, perform detailed measurements, and troubleshoot passive and active network connections. Key qualifications include a technical background (e.g., as an IT System Electronics Technician), good knowledge of passive data cabling, experience with network measurement tools, and strong communication skills to proactively support customers and suppliers.
