Job Summary

This is a strategic and highly autonomous Facility Manager role within an internationally leading mechanical engineering company specializing in pharmaceutical technology, covering multiple Swiss sites. You will be responsible for the comprehensive strategic planning, coordination, and monitoring of all maintenance, renovation, and construction activities across production and administrative buildings, technical systems, and supply infrastructure. Key responsibilities include creating strategic maintenance plans, managing budgets, ensuring operational safety, and leading major expansion and renovation projects. You will optimize building operation concepts, manage all building-related contracts (e.g., maintenance, cleaning), and coordinate external vendors and service providers. The role requires collaboration with Global HQ and EMEA teams, offering a dynamic and international work environment. Success in this position requires a relevant university degree, advanced FM certification, and fluency in both German and English.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or Facility Management, coupled with further professional certification in Facility Management.

Experience

  • Extensive professional practice in a similar leadership position
  • Experience as a Safety Officer in technical Facility Management for buildings and production facilities
  • Proven track record in leading and coordinating expansion and renovation projects within the technical industry
  • Experience working within a producing, technical industry, preferably a highly regulated environment (e.g., cleanroom production)
