Job Summary

This role is based within an independent, DAkkS-accredited testing laboratory specializing in the microbiological analysis of food and drinking water. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing crucial microbiological examinations in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines. Key tasks include the detection of pathogenic microorganisms using Real-Time PCR technology and active participation in quality assurance measures compliant with ISO 17025. A significant part of the role involves meticulous documentation of all analytical results within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and close collaboration with colleagues in the lab, sample reception, and customer support teams. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Biological Laboratory Technician, BTA, MTA, or a degree in Biology. A structured, responsible, and reliable approach to quality-assured laboratory work is essential, alongside a willingness to integrate into new methods and processes within this growing and innovative environment.
