Job Summary

This role involves leading and managing conceptual planning for urban climate adaptation strategies within the city of Frankfurt. The Specialist Planner will focus on developing comprehensive and localized concepts for blue-green infrastructure, specifically addressing heavy rainfall prevention, flood protection, and surface de-sealing initiatives. Key responsibilities include analyzing and evaluating existing technical data, such as heavy rainfall hazard maps, preparing procurement documents, and managing planning contracts with external service providers. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Sciences, Urban Planning, Water Management) and possesses at least three years of professional experience, coupled with fluent German language skills (C2).
