Job Summary

SODECIA, a Tier-1 automotive supplier specializing in hot forming structural components, is seeking a Metrology Technician to join their team in Saarlouis. This role is crucial for ensuring quality control through precise dimensional measurements. The technician will be responsible for conducting dimensional checks using 3D machines and other technologies, performing measurement system analyses (MSA) to assess repeatability and reproducibility, and calculating measurement uncertainties and tolerance limits according to system specifications. Day-to-day tasks include operating measurement systems, collecting and analyzing data, and generating reports to communicate results and propose necessary corrections to other departments. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background in mechanics or metallurgy, practical experience in manufacturing, ideally within the automotive sector, and fluent English skills.
