Job Summary

This is an opportunity for a dedicated Civil Engineer to join the City of Bornheim's Civil Engineering Department on a permanent, full-time basis. The role focuses on the independent development and management of road construction projects, including commercial and residential area development, expansion of existing roads, and intersection reconstruction. Key responsibilities involve planning, preparing tenders, managing procurement processes for engineering services, and acting as the client representative during construction execution. The successful candidate will also be responsible for project accounting, securing third-party contributions and subsidies, and coordinating public participation and committee work. This position requires a degree in Civil Engineering, practical experience in project management, and strong knowledge of relevant German technical regulations (VOB, HOAI, etc.).
