Job Summary
This leadership role involves managing the entire scope of building and technical services for the municipality, focusing on the planning and execution of both structural construction (Hochbau) and civil engineering (Tiefbau) projects. Key responsibilities include spearheading construction and development planning, meticulously managing and controlling the budget for all building measures, and representing the department in committees and public forums. Candidates must possess a university degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field, coupled with multi-year leadership experience and proven expertise in construction project management. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong negotiation, organizational skills, and proficiency in applying relevant technical standards. This is a permanent, full-time position offering public sector compensation (TVöD) and comprehensive benefits.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in Architecture or Civil Engineering, or a comparable degree program; Alternatively, Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt BL II) with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Multi-year leadership experience
- Knowledge and experience in construction project management
- Ideally, experience in client representation (Bauherrenvertretung)
