Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the administrative operation of a secure, on-premise cloud infrastructure, requiring strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including networking, storage, and security specialists to ensure seamless integration. A core duty includes the integration and deployment of containers within the Kubernetes ecosystem. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with relevant professional experience. Essential technical expertise includes deep knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Ceph, along with experience administering DevOps and CI/CD environments utilizing tools like Gitlab and Tekton. This full-time, permanent position offers attractive benefits and the flexibility of approximately 50% mobile work, and can be based at either the Unterlüß or Kassel location.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or comparable field, OR Certified IT Specialist for System Integration apprenticeship.

Experience

  • Professional experience in system administration following completion of relevant education/apprenticeship
  • In-depth knowledge of virtualization technology administration
  • Experience in securing cloud infrastructures and implementing security policies
