Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious expert to advance technology by focusing on the development and optimization of electrical drive and control systems for maritime applications, working with leading developers in shipbuilding and marine technology. Key responsibilities include the development and optimization of electrical drive and control systems, along with electrotechnical troubleshooting on both development and customer projects. The specialist will actively participate in the creation and testing of prototypes, including necessary bench tests, and conduct comprehensive system and functional checks both onboard vessels and during harbor/sea operations. A crucial component of the job is adapting hardware and software solutions to meet specific customer requirements, often involving measurement trips and performance analyses. Candidates must possess a background in Electrical Engineering or a related field, deep knowledge of electrical switchgear and frequency-controlled drive systems (like Danfoss/VACON, ABB), and proficiency in PLC programming (WAGO, SIMATIC) and schematic interpretation (EPLAN P8).
