Job Summary

This role involves providing essential IT support and infrastructure management within the Regional Infrastructure Management (RIM) team for the Federal Employment Agency. Based in Osnabrück, the Specialist Assistant will be responsible for the on-site user support of IT devices, including the installation and deployment of workstations and equipment. Key daily tasks include managing IT inventory, performing 2nd-Level support for troubleshooting, and conducting standardized IT consultations for various products. The position requires a strong background in IT (preferably Fachinformatik or IT Systems Merchant) or equivalent professional experience, excellent organizational skills, and a service-oriented, empathetic personality. Due to the regional scope, regular travel within the RIM district (including Vechta) is mandatory, making a driver's license essential. This is a full-time, permanent position offering meaningful work within a large public service organization.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training, preferably in the IT sector (e.g., IT Specialist, IT Systems Merchant). Alternatively, a secondary education degree is accepted if combined with relevant professional experience.

Experience
