Mechatronics Technician | Mechatroniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This full-time role, based in Nürtingen, involves supporting the electronics development team for a leading energy sector client specializing in scalable Lithium-Ion battery storage and ultra-fast charging solutions. The Mechatronics Technician will be responsible for setting up laboratory equipment for tests and trials, actively assisting in the qualification of new energy systems, and ensuring compliance with stringent IPC criteria during the acceptance testing of circuit boards, assemblies, and cables. A key part of the job includes fault localization and analysis on field returns to contribute directly to product improvement. Candidates must possess professional qualifications in electronics or mechatronics, mandatory IPC certifications (IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620), and proficiency in precision soldering, especially with SMD components. Experience with IT systems, laboratory automation, and specifically LabVIEW is highly advantageous. The position also includes managing measuring equipment functionality and organizing spare parts inventory.
