The Laser Institute at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences is seeking a Research Associate to join the 'Selective and low-damage laser ablation of layer systems on optical components (SelektLas)' project. This full-time, fixed-term role involves hands-on experimental work, including irradiating samples with ultra-short pulsed laser radiation and conducting *ex situ* analysis using spatially resolved ellipsometry. Key responsibilities also include determining absorbed energy and utilizing *in situ* (ultra-fast) measurement technology. Candidates must hold a university degree in Physics or Physical Technology and possess relevant experience in optics, laser physics, and solid-state physics.
