Job Summary

This role involves supervising and coordinating mounting and assembly activities for Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Systems (EICS) projects within the process industry, particularly in the (petro)chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently developing assembly concepts, managing scheduling, and coordinating closely with internal departments and external partners. The supervisor will conduct plant inspections, ensuring safety compliance and instructing assembly firms on planned work. A critical component is quality assurance, involving the verification of EPLAN documentation against actual plant inventory and the classification of existing plant parts into System Control Elements (SCEs). Key requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology (or equivalent qualifications like a Technician/Master Craftsman with relevant experience), expertise in assembly planning and coordination, and knowledge of plant documentation, specifically EPLAN.
