Job Summary
This role is ideal for a skilled and motivated Qualified Electrician who enjoys working with electrical systems in a dynamic environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent maintenance, installation, repair, and replacement of electrical components within a service unit focused on rail vehicles and track construction machinery, as well as maintaining the electrical infrastructure of the facility itself. A key component of the job is troubleshooting technical faults, occasionally requiring travel to construction sites (up to 20 days per year) or other workshops between Potsdam and Berlin. The ideal candidate holds a completed electro-technical qualification, such as an Electrician, Plant Electrician, or Master Electrician, ideally with VEFK qualification, and possesses experience in the maintenance of construction machinery or control technology.
