Job Summary

The Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office Westphalia (CVUA-Westfalen), a public institution, is seeking a skilled Chemical Laboratory Assistant for its Hagen location. This role involves performing comprehensive chemical-physical and sensory analyses of food products, particularly butter, fats, oils, and delicatessen items. The successful candidate will be responsible for sample preparation, conducting analyses using various methods including sensory, classical physical-chemical (NIR, photometry), and chromatographic (GC, HPLC) techniques, and executing method validations and verifications. Additionally, the role requires proficient use of a Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS) for sample processing and meticulous documentation of quality controls within the quality management system.
