Job Summary

This role seeks an Instrumentation and Control Technician to join the IFAS team in Leuna, Germany, focusing on maintaining and repairing complex operational systems within the Leuna plants. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing ongoing and preventive maintenance, performing cyclical servicing, monitoring functions, evaluating measurement results, and ensuring proper documentation and revision of technical records. The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot complex system failures using technical documents like circuit diagrams and data sheets, develop technical solutions, and manage the repair or replacement of components followed by recommissioning. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training in electrical engineering or instrumentation and control technology, and strong German language skills (B2 level).
